Every kid who has played sports imagines growing up and playing for their favorite team. As a young baseball fanatic raised in Cincinnati, Katie Hulsman’s team was her hometown Reds. And while the Transylvania graduate may not come to work with her name on the back of a uniform, she’s very much a part of the club.
A Transylvania computer science alumnus remembers his 17-year-old self “kicking and screaming” his way through the very liberal arts classes that would sustain him after graduation — and the professors who supported his journey to adulthood.
It was a daunting proposition for recent Transy grad Christine Lee, changing majors to computer science and pursuing a field that, as she says, has historically “been a field of men.” But Lee has plenty of experience being a leader and a pioneer.
