The Core of Campus Life

Transylvania’s campus center opened in 2020 and has bright, welcoming areas for student organizations, student services, dining, fitness and events. College life outside the classroom is crucial for developing the whole person, and the campus center is the hub for that activity.

Campus Engagement

Expansive event and meeting spaces with up-to-date technologies are available for Transy’s more than 50 student clubs and organizations. This is where you’ll develop your leadership skills, show your creativity, get involved and have fun with like-minded peers who share your interests.

Student Services

Most of our student life services are housed here — Health and Wellness (including the clinic and counseling center), Diversity and Inclusion, Housing and Residence Life, Campus and Community Engagement and Religious Life. These staff members are committed to keeping Transy students healthy, building their leadership skills and creating an environment where everyone’s needs are met with care.

Our two largest dining facilities — the Great Hall and the Rafskeller — are housed in the campus center. Transy and its food management partner, Bon Appétit, offer fresh, locally sourced food that cater to any type of special diet or allergy restriction. The Great Hall is always open to use for study space, group meetings or just hanging out and playing games.

The campus center offers two exercise rooms for students, with equipment for cardio and strength training, as well as a competition-sized swimming pool. Transy is committed to helping students take care of their physical fitness, and group classes and trainers are available to help you meet your goals.

Hearth Room

The Hearth Room is Transy’s living room. It’s a cozy space with a fireplace and comfortable furniture for studying and lounging. It’s another opportunity for you to build a community of lifelong friends.

The campus bookstore has everything you need to stock up on Transy gear, school supplies, residence hall essentials and more. We’re all about Pioneer pride, and there’s no better way to show yours than by browsing the bookstore in person or online.
