Transylvania’s Morlan Gallery launches the 2021-22 season tomorrow with an in-person, public exhibition of works by professional artists — its first since early 2020.
Caroline Randall Williams wrapped up Transylvania University’s 2020-21 Creative Intelligence series with a moving reading and discussion on this academic year’s theme of “Justice.”
Transylvania choral director Regan MacNay led the discussion with ASE founder Everett McCorvey, author Eileen Guenther on the performance and the history and context of spirituals.
The free show will stream online for 10 days beginning April 2, with a virtual artists’ discussion April 11.
“Through the Lens: Campaign Photography in a Digital World” will examine the role visuals play in campaigns and whether digital imagery serves as a reliable source of information.
