Updated Transylvania Academic Calendar (March 12, 2020)

Editor’s Note: Transylvania further updated its academic plans on March 18. This updated academic calendar is current as of 3:30 p.m., March 18.

Transylvania University has updated its academic calendar for the revised winter and May 2020 terms below. This calendar extends winter term by one week. As a result, there will not be a break between winter and May terms. May term will begin on Monday, April 27, and winter term grades will be due on May 1 at 10 a.m.

Winter 2020 (revised)

May 2020 (revised)

Because May term classes are unique and provide highly interactive learning, offering them online is challenging. We have made the decision to prioritize graduating seniors this May term and offer online instruction only to those seniors who require credits to graduate in May 2020.

For May term, faculty will address student instructional time in their syllabi.
