China in Flux: Movement, Urbanization, and Memory

The exhibition is organized into three sections, each featuring a photographic series by a contemporary Chinese artist: Qian Haifeng’s Green Trains, Tang Haowu’s Migrant Workers, and Li Ming’s Post–Three Gorges. I have also drafted subtitles for each section:

  1. Tracks of Memory: Life on the Green Train;
  2. Building Dreams: Migrant Workers and Urban Transformation;
  3. Reshaping the Landscape: Water, Memory, and the Three Gorges.
