PS 3264 – Human Rights

This course examines human rights and humanitarianism intervention in world politics. The course aims to: enhance understanding of international human rights law at the domestic, regional, and international levels; investigate human rights violations, implementation and enforcement throughout the world; and assess different perspectives on human rights, by examining the Western liberal tradition and challenges presented to that tradition by non-European cultures.
