Winter weather update: Two-hour delayed schedule today

Transylvania is on a two-hour delayed start this morning. Exams scheduled before 11 a.m. will be rescheduled. Faculty will contact students about arrangements for exams. Exams scheduled after 11:00 a.m. will be held at their normal times. Essential personnel should report as scheduled, and all other staff should report to work at 10:30 a.m.

Students who cannot safely get to class should contact their professors to make individual arrangements. Employees who are unable to report due to safety concerns or can work remotely should coordinate with their supervisors. Time away from campus should be recorded as vacation unless remote work is approved. Essential personnel are asked to report as scheduled.

Please use caution when moving around campus by watching for icy walkways, allowing extra time to get around, and staying alert to changing conditions.
