Neuroscience majors must select an area of emphasis, which will determine the courses required for the major.  the three areas of emphasis are biology, computer science, and psychology

First Year

Fall Term

Two of the following:

  • BIO 1204 Biology: Molecules and Cells
  • PSY 1004 General Psychology
  • CS 1124 Foundations of Computer Science
  • MATH 1304 Calculus I

Winter Term

  • CS 2124 Logic and Problem Solving OR
  • Two of the courses not taken in Fall term

May Term

  • CS 2124 Logic and Problem Solving (If not taken in Winter term)

Second Year

Fall Term

  • CS 2444 Data Structures
  • PHYS 2115 University Physics I
  • PHIL 1024 Intro to Philosophy** OR
  • PHIL 2514 Ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy**
