Transylvania recognized its first-generation community members this week with a wide range of activities designed to celebrate their successes as trailblazers.

Robert T. Berry Sr. was recognized him with an award for his historic contributions to Transylvania University and its athletics program.
Moved by the events of the past year, Transylvania first-year student Richard Stinetorf created this painting based on a news photograph of a protest in Chicago. He’s decided to donate the piece to the university.
