The Washington Monthly has once again recognized Transylvania University as one of the nation’s top 10 liberal arts colleges for promoting public service — and the school has catapulted 33 spots in the overall rankings in just the past two years.
In a new rating that spotlights schools for advancing the social mobility of their students, U.S. News & World Report ranks Transylvania University 50th among the nation’s liberal arts colleges.
The university placed 72nd in the country — rising 15 spots in the last two years to its best-ever U.S. News ranking in the national liberal arts colleges category.
