Transylvania University has opened a national search for its 27th president. Information on the application process and a full position profile are available on the Transylvania presidential search website at presidentsearch.transy.edu.

To help identify candidates, Transylvania’s Presidential Search Committee is partnering with Isaacson,  Miller of Boston. In developing the position profile, the firm worked closely with the search committee and university community, including faculty, students, staff and alumni. The results of that collaboration guided the development of the position profile, which outlines the characteristics sought in Transylvania’s next leader.

Building on a long institutional history, a reputation for academic excellence and a strong sense of community on campus, the next president will guide Transylvania into a new era of success and distinction. To fill that role, Transylvania seeks an experienced, collaborative and strategic leader.

All applications and nominations for this position should be directed, in confidence, to Isaacson, Miller via this website: https://www.imsearch.com/search-detail/S7-198.

The Search Committee plans to make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees and have a president in place no later than July 1, 2020.
