For nearly 240 years, students have come to Transylvania seeking a quality education and an exceptional college experience. We are grateful for that profound act of trust. So many want to pay it forward with support for future and current Pioneers long after they have left these hallowed halls.
Did you know your annual gifts immediately impact our students? The Annual Fund supports all aspects of the learning opportunities offered at Transy. The largest portion of the Annual Fund is dedicated to scholarships supporting 98% of our students. Experiences such as study abroad, the 100 Doors mentoring program and internships as well as curricular and library offerings also benefit from Annual Fund contributions. As you can see, your annual donations will help us to maintain the level of excellence for which a degree from Transylvania University is well known.
The investment you can make in future Pioneers ensures that our recognized tradition of providing educational excellence continues for the next generation. Your participation influences Transy’s ranking in national publications and is used by foundations as a decision factor for awarding sizable grants. We have many ways you can participate:
- Credit Card – Online credit card gifts must be made by 11:59p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2019. Make your gift now at www.transy.edu/GoBeyond.
- Check – Make it payable to Transylvania University and mail to the Alumni & Development Office, Transylvania University, 300 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40508. Envelopes must be postmarked by Saturday, June 29, 2019 to count in this year’s totals.
- In Person – Gifts may be dropped off in person by 5 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2019, in the Alumni & Development Office located at 415 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40508. There is a circle drive in front of our office for easy parking.
- Text-to-Give – use our newest giving tool text-to-give. It is quick and easy – simply text GIVE to (859) 209-3640 and it walks you through the rest!
- Stock – Stocks must be received into the University account by Friday, June 28, 2019. Please work with your broker prior to June 28 to ensure the funds are transferred before the close of our fiscal year. Please be sure to email the type and number of shares to giving@transy.edu so we may promptly credit you with the gift.
