Financial Aid and Scholarships

Making college affordable
Almost every student at Transy receives financial assistance. We encourage all applicants to complete the FAFSA (Transy code: 001987) to be considered for need-based aid.

Scholarships
Every applicant is automatically considered for merit scholarships, which can range up to full tuition. We also offer competitive scholarships that consider a student’s activities in leadership, service, special academic interests, academic excellence, special talent and co-curricular activities.

No Application Fee
Transylvania University does not charge an application fee, because we believe applying to college should be an open door—not a financial barrier. Our goal is to make the application process simple, supportive, and accessible for every student who wants to explore what Transy has to offer.
Counselors document submission
Counselors who use Slate.org can track their students’ applications to Transy, upload materials and monitor progress in real time.
