Moosnick Lectureship in Judaic Studies Presents: Professor Melissa R. Klapper
Melissa R. Klapper is Professor of History and Director of Women’s & Gender Studies at Rowan University. She is the award-winning author of several books on American Jewish women and the history of American childhood, including “Ballots, Babies, and Banners of Peace: American Jewish Women’s Activism, 1890-1940,” which won the National Jewish Book Award in Women’s Studies, and the recently released “Ballet Class: An American History.”
