Catalog 2013-2014

The major is built on foundational study of the ancient languages and a four-course core. Students can pursue their own interests in choosing five electives. Special topics courses, such as Spartacus, are regularly offered, and students are encouraged to study abroad. All majors enroll in a senior capstone seminar in which they conduct research, write a paper, and present their work to the class.
