I’ll Be Your Mirror

An exhibition of contemporary painting, drawing, photography, and pop ephemera chronicling the myths, stories, history and faces of the LGBTQ* community in Lexington, Kentucky. Curated by Lexington artist and activist Robert Morgan.

  • Jackson E. Schad: Transkentuckian—Wed., Nov. 6, 7 p.m. in the Morlan Gallery.
    Schad relates the idea of being born a new person in a new state and how Kentucky has influenced and supported his transition. 
  • Curator’s Perspective with Robert Morgan—Tues., Nov. 12, 12:30-1:15 in the Morlan Gallery.
    Artist, activist, and I’ll Be Your Mirror curator Robert Morgan discusses the process of considering and assembling the exhibition as well as sharing the fascinating and often untold history of Lexington’s LGBTQ* community.

Dec. 4, 2013  – Faculty, staff and students participate in this one-day community art and craft sale. Free and open to the public; purchases may be made in cash and check only. Art sale noon to 5 p.m., refreshments served all day.
