Larry Barnes Retrospective Concert

Transylvania welcomes Pulitzer Prize-winning science writer Ed Yong to campus Thursday, Feb. 15, to give the 2024 William R. Kenan Jr. Lecture. The free, public talk on “An Immense World” will explore the amazing sensory realms of animals that lie outside the scope of our five senses. He is professor of philosophy at California State University, Chico, specializing in ethics, love and loyalty, and philosophy of literature. The lecture is sponsored by our philosophy program in honor of the late professor Rick O’Neil.
