What Matters to Me and Why

Alums Wayne and Virginia Bell will present a discussion of values, beliefs, and life decisions. Wayne is a Disciples minister who was active in the civil rights movement, served as president of Lexington Theological Seminary, and is a long time trustee of Transylvania. Virginia is a social worker who is acclaimed for her work on Alzheimer's. She is a sought after speaker and writer on the issue and she developed one of the first dementia-specific adult day programs in the country, the Best Friends Center. Morlan Gallery exhibition Trashformed opens

Opening Day! American artists intercept the waste stream of flotsam and jetsam of American culture and transform them into works rich with meaning.
