To help us finish the year strong, an alumnus from the class of \u201951, Wes Sights \u201993, and an anonymous member of the Board of Regents have come together to present the $60,000 Match the Moment Challenge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Credit Card, Venmo or Apple Pay<\/strong> \u2014 Online credit card gifts must be made by 11:59 p.m., Monday June 30, 2025. Make a gift<\/strong><\/a> now. Please note that if you are mailing in your credit card gift it must be received in hand by Monday, June 30 2025, in order for our staff to process your donation. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make a Gift Online<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Check<\/strong> \u2014 Make it payable to Transylvania University and mail it to the Alumni & Development Office, Transylvania University, 300 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40508.  Envelopes must be postmarked by Monday, June 30, 2025, to count in the 2025 Giving Year\u2019s totals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Person<\/strong> \u2014 Gifts may be dropped off in the Alumni & Development Office located at 415 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40508 until 5 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2025. There is a circle drive in front of our office for easy parking.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stock<\/strong> \u2014 Stocks must be received into the University account by Friday, June 27, 2025.  Please work with your broker prior to June 27 to ensure the funds are transferred before the close of our giving year.  Please be sure to email the type and number of shares to giving@transy.edu<\/a> so we may promptly credit you with the gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give from your IRA<\/strong> \u2014 If you are 70 1\/2 or older, you can give directly from your IRA to Transylvania without having to pay income taxes on the money. Gifts of $105,000 or less are eligible, so long as they are directed from your IRA custodian to Transylvania (rather than taking the disbursement yourself and then gifting it.) This is a very<\/em><\/strong> smart way to contribute, and those who max out the allowable annual gift provide the equivalent of two full-tuition\/fees scholarships that year for Transy students! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
