We invite you to update your personal and professional information, post class notes, sign up for a lifetime email address and register for alumni events. The Alumni Association sponsors a variety of programs designed to bring Pioneers together and to keep everyone informed of Transylvania’s progress. The exceptional progress, well underway, is possible because of alumni participation. We invite you to take part in social events and networking through alumni chapters and regional alumni groups.
Alumni volunteers serve as regional coordinators for our three regional alumni networks: Bluegrass (Lexington area), Louisville and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. We have Regional Alumni Ambassadors in cities such as New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Nashville, Knoxville and Atlanta. These alumni volunteers assist with coordinating and hosting regional gatherings and help the admissions office with recruiting new Pioneers.
Alumni Weekend is an annual event in the spring that draws alumni back to campus for five-year class reunion dinners and socials, the Alumni Celebration Convocation, Transy Family Lunch, the President’s Reception and many other events that appeal to various interests. The Robert Barr Society induction is a special part of Alumni Weekend, when we pay tribute to alumni celebrating their 50th Reunion. Reunion committees help promote attendance for classes celebrating five-year reunions.
