Crimson Card

Your Crimson Card is your official Transylvania University identification as well as a multi-function card that can be used to access your meal plan and Dining Dollars, door access, and Crimson Cash. 

The back of your Crimson Card also contains contact information for critical safety resources, including national hotlines for domestic violence, sexual assault and suicide prevention.

Crimson Cash is a declining balance account that can be used for dining, laundry, mailroom services, and bookstore purchases.

ADDING CRIMSON CASH TO THE CRIMSON CARD

To use a credit or debit card to add funds to a student’s Crimson Cash account, go to the Crimson Card Account Center.  A convenience fee of $2 applies to each transaction.

Students logging in for the first time will Register for Web Account Access Crimson Card Account Center with their Transylvania ID number, which can be found on the Self Service profile, and last name to create a username and password (this may be different from your regular Transylvania login and password).  Log in using this new username and password to add funds, check meal plan and Crimson Cash activity, as well as send email requests to parents, friends, and family to add funds to their Crimson Cash account.  

Parents, friends, and family can follow the link to Quick Add Value to a student’s Crimson Cash account. When prompted for the Student ID number, enter the seven-digit student ID number that is included in student billing reminders.  You can also ask your student to send you an email through the website to ask for funds.You may also mail a check referencing the student account holder number to:

Report lost or stolen Crimson Cards to the Crimson Card Office immediately.  Physical damage to the card may deactivate it. Card replacement fees are $20.
