The goal of the creative writing program is to show that imagination is a necessary and vital tool to take into the real world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer introductory and advanced workshops in the standard creative genres\u2014poetry, fiction and non-fiction\u2014each exposing you to a variety of writing styles and forms. We also offer courses across disciplines\u2014such as writing, rhetoric and communication; theater; and literary translation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several May term courses and special topics courses are also designed around creative writing. Would you like to write in Ireland? Make a pilgrimage to a noted writer\u2019s home? Would you like to work with student writers at other colleges in the region? These are the kinds of incredible opportunities we offer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
