So the Greet Line is an annual Transy tradition that we do with the first years. Each year we have them get in some big space where every student says “hi,” either through a handshake, high‑five, fist bump, to each person of their class.

Seeing the current first years take that photo, it’s brought back a lot of memories from the first year and it’s honestly made me think about how I’ve grown as a person over the last three years at Transy.

Greet Line

Among the traditions Transylvania’s first-year students share with generations of classes before them is taking a class photo on the steps of Old Morrison and introducing themselves to classmates in our “Greet Line” the first weekend on campus.
