2023 Commencement

Transylvania University celebrated 191 graduating students during a commencement ceremony on the lawn of Old Morrison. About half of the senior class is graduating with Latin honors for a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, and 52% are receiving honors in their programs. After commencement, nearly one third of these distinguished Pioneers will be attending graduate and professional schools and almost half will be beginning their careers in a variety of fields, from teaching to finance to data analytics and even public service in the military and the Peace Corps. Some are headed to medical, dental and law schools, and others will continue their studies in master’s programs at Johns Hopkins, Vanderbilt and Duke universities among others.
