i. Completed draft of Inclusive Excellence program. ii. Implemented enhanced diversity and bias training for search committees; utilized training with faculty and vice presidential searches. iii. Monuments Committee established and nearing completion of inventory of historic markers, artwork and named spaces; Board of Trustees approved revised naming policies. iv. Working with the Liberal Arts Colleges Racial Equity Leadership Alliance (LACRELA) to begin a series of activities and initiatives commencing January 2022. v. Provided on-campus training for 27 faculty during winter 2021. Submitted proposals for Center for Teaching and Learning and Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Instructor/Teaching Scholar program to the Bingham Board for evaluation. vi. Completed updated recruiting and hiring practices and procedures. vii. Engaged the SEC subcommittee to focus on this objective. |
