Though it may seem odd, one of the most crowded places on campus during the week is the cafeteria at 9 p.m. the night before exams begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Monday of finals week, known as Reading Day, Transylvania\u2019s Student Activities Board puts on Brinner, where faculty members come together to serve \u201cbreakfast at dinner.\u201d It\u2019s a way to provide a fun, late-night snack option to help boost students\u2019 morale before finals begin and a way for professors to show appreciation for their students&#8217; hard work during finals week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAB President Katie Smith and Vice President of Programming Railey Abell led a team of students to help coordinate the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brinner is &#8220;one of our iconic signature events that we have every semester,\u201d said Abell. \u201cIt\u2019s just a fun event that students can use to take a break to enjoy time with their friends while they\u2019re preparing for finals.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year was the first time new food service partner Bon App\u00e9tit participated.
