A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, Dodds excels in his major, biology, and his minors in chemistry and business administration. As a sophomore at Transy, he was selected by the University of Kentucky\u2019s Early Assurance Program, which guarantees his place in its medical school program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll of Transy\u2019s STEM classes really push,\u201d he says. \u201cThey\u2019re intense. They\u2019re hard. But they are classes that are going to make it easier in the long run to study for the MCAT or the DAT or for pharmacy.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/1780\/2019\/07\/gross-anatomy-and-finches-how-a-competitive-swimmer-makes-the-most-of-being-pre-med-at-transy\/\">Dodds&#8217; experience at Transy<\/a> is an example of how the university provides its students with the support they need to succeed.
