The Transylvania\nUniversity eventing team will kick off the spring season with the school’s\nfirst-ever Intercollegiate Spring Jumper\nChallenge<\/a> on Saturday at Antebellum Farm in Lexington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The all-day\ncompetition will be open to any college and any level of riders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our team will be\nat the competition all day to help run the show, and we will have six team\nmembers jumping in the competition,” coach Tanya Davis said. “This\nwill be a fun local competition to come cheer on and meet some of our Transy\neventers.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transylvania’s team\nhas celebrated tremendous successes since it was established in 2011. For\ninstance, three students placed within the top five of their respective\nintercollegiate divisions. Most recently, senior Abby Blackburn and her own\nmount, Dior HH, finished the 2018 season as champions of the Novice\nIntercollegiate Division.
