Topics include budgeting, credit management, investing and long-term financial planning. These are critical skills that shape students\u2019 lives well beyond their time on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program also reflects Transylvania\u2019s focus on applied learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through its partnership with WesBanco, students will engage with financial professionals through mentorship, workshops and classroom experiences. These opportunities connect academic learning with practical decision-making and help students build confidence in managing their financial futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cStrong community partnerships like the one we\u2019ve built with WesBanco create meaningful opportunities for our students to engage with real-world expertise,\u201d said Kaelyn Query Caldwell, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship. \u201cThis collaboration ensures students are not only learning financial concepts but also applying them in ways that support long-term success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative is part of a broader strategy to connect students with organizations that invest in their personal and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt Transylvania, we focus on partnerships that expand opportunity for our students,\u201d said Raymond Daniels, special assistant to the president for strategic partnerships and community relations. \u201cWesBanco shares our commitment to financial literacy and student success, and together we are helping students build the knowledge they need to make informed decisions throughout their lives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program is available to students, faculty and staff, reinforcing a campus-wide commitment to financial awareness and lifelong learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether students are preparing for their first job, considering graduate school or launching a business, the initiative supports their transition from classroom learning to real-world application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Transylvania, success after college is not only about knowledge.
