While 2024 is winding down, the impact of donor generosity continues to shape the lives of Transylvania University students. Consider the story Jayce Browning \u201927: Her journey, fueled by the support of Transylvania Fund donors, is a testament to the power of giving. This holiday season, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of countless young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donor support has transformed the life of this junior psychology major from Eastern Kentucky. Coming from one of the nation\u2019s most economically challenged regions, Browning faced significant financial challenges in pursuing higher education. Many of her high school peers couldn\u2019t afford to attend college at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWithout the scholarships I have, I probably wouldn\u2019t be able to pay for tuition at Transy,\u201d she said. Thanks to the scholarships she received, Browning is pursuing her dream of studying psychology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I\u2019d just say that no matter how much someone donates \u2014 whether it’s a lot or a little \u2014 it all makes a difference for students.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Browning plans to attend graduate school in counseling psychology after Transylvania. She hopes to one day give back to the school to help other students like herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
