Members of the Transylvania and Lexington communities are invited to send off the Transylvania Pioneers women\u2019s basketball team as they head to Wisconsin to play in the NCAA Division III women\u2019s basketball Sweet 16<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sweet 16 Campus Send-Off is Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. inside the Beck Center. The team will immediately depart via bus from campus following the send-off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday at 6 p.m. EST, No. 2 ranked Transylvania faces Wisconsin-Stout (23-7) at Kachel Fieldhouse on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The game will be livestreamed<\/a>. Transylvania will also host a watch party for fans at Lexington’s Old North Bar at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pioneers currently have the longest winning streak in college basketball at 62 games, and last year\u2019s team won the NCAA Division III tournament<\/a> \u2014 a first in university history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
