It\u2019s a double the opportunity, double the fun day at Keene Trace Golf Club on Aug. 8 as golfers (and golf wannabes) take to the course to support Transylvania Athletics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration is open for both the 2023 Transy Golf Classic<\/a> presented by Bluegrass Orthopaedics and the Women\u2019s 9-Hole Golf Classic<\/a> presented by Women\u2019s Worth Alliance. The dual events raise vital funds for Transylvania\u2019s student-athletes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keene Trace is also the home course for the Pioneers women\u2019s and men\u2019s golf teams. Transylvania hosted the 2023 men\u2019s and will host the 2024 women\u2019s NCAA Division III golf championships at the course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two- and four-person teams can register to play<\/a> in the Golf Classic, an 18-hole scramble. The Women\u2019s Classic is a four-woman, nine-hole scramble (register here<\/a>). Registration fees include a hospitality gift, greens and cart fees, meals and prizes for top teams and other hole challenges. Sponsorship opportunities<\/a> are still available as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New at this year\u2019s classic, Callaway licensed club fitters will be on site to provide free fittings to all participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 450 student-athletes at Transylvania will benefit from the funds raised by the golf classics. The university has 26 intercollegiate athletic teams who participate in a wide range of sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
