Three local businesses are among the community partners stepping up to make this year\u2019s PumpkinMania possible. Joining title sponsor White, Greer & Maggard Orthodontics and silver sponsor BimGroup are bronze supporters Alpha Financial Partners, Becker Law Office and Commonwealth Credit Union. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alpha Financial Partners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alpha Financial Partners\u2019 commitment to its clients and community is reflected by the partners\u2019 dedication to service, as exemplified by their extensive work with several local nonprofit organizations, as well as their involvement in assisting those impacted by the recent flooding in Eastern Kentucky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, for co-founder and CCO Greg Turcotte, PumpkinMania isn\u2019t just a way to get involved in the local community; it\u2019s also personal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 2009 Transylvania University graduate, Turcotte has been heavily involved with the university\u2019s Young Alumni Council, both as a member from 2013-19 and as TUYAC\u2019s president from 2016-17. In this capacity, he was involved in launching the university\u2019s Alumni Fall Festival, which is part of PumpkinMania this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the first year for the full-service, Lexington-based financial advisory firm to sponsor PumpkinMania, and Turcotte looks forward to this new way of participating in the festivities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTransy is the location, but [PumpkinMania] is very much a community event. They open up the doors and let anyone who wants to be a part of it come and enjoy it,\u201d he noted. \u201cThe fact that the community supports it is remarkable and a testament to Transy and its place in the community.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family atmosphere of PumpkinMania is the perfect fit for an organization that prides itself on exemplifying the values of honesty, integrity and transparency. Becker Law Office<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Becker Law Office is a staple of the Lexington community. The firm\u2019s Lexington-area personal injury lawyers have more than three decades of experience representing clients in matters ranging from vehicular accidents to medical malpractice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This emphasis on ensuring their clients\u2019 well-being extends to widespread civic involvement to provide help and resources to people with need in the community. Staff members regularly donate their time and energy to support several local causes, and this year, Becker Law is contributing to Transylvania as a first-time bronze-level PumpkinMania sponsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe love finding opportunities in the community to reach out and meet the people that make Lexington so special,\u201d said Becker attorney Kennedy Slusher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Becker Law Office chose their involvement with PumpkinMania due to their employee Sarah Green, a 2017 Transy graduate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PumpkinMania Festival \u201callows the campus and students to be active participants in their local community,\u201d Slusher said. \u201cIt also provides a fun and safe space for locals to celebrate Halloween.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repeat PumpkinMania sponsor Commonwealth Credit Union is likewise committed to Kentucky.
