All of the items identified in the plan were either completed or are currently being addressed. Among the accomplishments, the university:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2020-21-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-1\/\">Implemented Healthy at Transy protocols<\/a> including testing, daily check-ins via an app, and an overall approach of individual empowerment along with individual and collective responsibility.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2020-21-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-2\/\">Created the Strategic Enrollment Council<\/a>, which is further enhancing efforts to increase enrollment, strategic messaging and parent, student and community engagement.&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2020-21-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-3\/\">Made progress on upholding the university\u2019s commitments<\/a> to diversity, access and individual development.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe intend to build on our momentum with an ambitious plan for the coming year that both complements our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/strategic-focus\/\">three-year Strategic Focus<\/a> and prioritizes our students&#8217; academic and campus experience,\u201d Lewis said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2021-22-annual-plan\/\">2021-22 Annual Plan<\/a> builds on the university&#8217;s Strategic Focus, which was released last November and provides a clear, definitive set of initiatives for the current fiscal year. The new plan includes action items for:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2021-22-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-1\/\">Implementing plans for programs, facilities and support structures<\/a> that will enhance the culture of academic excellence for our students and help drive enrollment growth.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2021-22-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-2\/\">Increasing demand for and access to a Transylvania education<\/a> in order to grow total enrollment.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2021-22-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-3\/\">Cultivating and sustaining a culture<\/a> of inclusion, equity and justice through education, dialogue and practice.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.transy.edu\/about\/office-of-the-president\/2021-22-annual-plan\/guiding-objective-4\/\">Engaging alumni and friends<\/a> to invest in Transylvania\u2019s future.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m confident that through our strategic and annual planning processes, we are actively engaging our university community in work that will bring our vision to fruition: that Transylvania will be \u2014 and will be recognized as being \u2014 the finest urban undergraduate liberal arts institution in the
