Newman was responsible for eliminating mycotoxins as a cause of MRLS.<\/p>\n<p>Newman received his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, specializing in interactions between immunity, nutrition and the gastrointestinal ecosystem. Studies conducted by Newman helped to define how yeast culture may benefit equine digestion. He is the primary author on a book chapter describing the effects of mycotoxins on horses.<\/p>\n<p>Newman will answer questions from the audience after speaking and a reception will follow.
