According to students, Transylvania strives to provide \u201ca holistic educational experience where one can grow intellectually and academically while participating in a vibrant social community.\u201d Professors \u201care both very knowledgeable and fun to be around\u201d and their accessibility is \u201camazing.\u201d<\/p>\n
When it comes to social life on campus, students were quoted as saying \u201cevery social event is practically an open invitation\u201d and Transylvania\u2019s location in downtown Lexington means students are often found \u201cwalking downtown to theaters, art exhibits, or other downtown events.\u201d <\/p>\n
Students commented that their classmates come \u201cfrom different backgrounds including differences in sexual orientation, class, religion, region and political orientation\u201d meaning \u201cmost students will find themselves right at home on campus.\u201d<\/p>\n
