\nLEXINGTON, Ky.\u2014The Princeton Review once again listed Transylvania University among the top 15 percent of the nation\u2019s four-year colleges.\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWe selected these colleges primarily based on our high opinion of their academics,\u201d according to the Princeton Review, which includes Transylvania in its book, \u201cThe Best 380 Colleges – 2016 Edition.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Princeton Review\u2014known for its college admissions, tutoring and test prep services\u2014also conducted independent surveys of students at the country\u2019s top schools.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe report characterized Transylvania students as \u201cpassionate, involved, kind and intelligent.\u201d There also is a collaborative culture at the school and \u201cstrong sense of community.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nOne of the students surveyed said professors are extremely accessible and \u201ccare about their students on a personal level.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Princeton Review noted: \u201cIndividual attention is paramount at Transylvania University.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nAdditionally, a psychology and philosophy double major said students \u201ccare about each other and are ready to stand together to support a cause or a friend in need.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
