It demonstrated her ability to multitask\u2014playing soccer and taking on big offices in her sorority while making good grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The complete package<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Social skills<\/li><li>Broad knowledge<\/li><li>Time management skills<\/li><li>Academic excellence<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Kelly Kreutzjans \u201916 offered her future employer the complete package: a broad liberal arts background that gave her confidence and the ability to engage people on different subjects, evidence of good time management and excellence in the field of accounting. She\u2019d already interned with a CPA company in Lexington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur teachers know us. They always make themselves available for us. Anytime you need something, there\u2019s someone you can talk to\u2014or they\u2019ll find it for you.\u201dIf you\u2019re new to the workforce, \u201csoft\u201d skills top the list of essential traits that employers seek. It\u2019s these skills (being well rounded and socially adept), along with academic achievement, that set Pioneers apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kreutzjans says that Transy helped her in ways she didn\u2019t expect. \u201cIt built my confidence,\u201d she explains. \u201cThe teachers in the accounting department were great.\u201d They encouraged her to attend industry events and were available to her whenever she needed help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd the liberal arts made us really well rounded,\u201d she explains. \u201cI can talk to people about things that aren\u2019t just accounting or business because I\u2019ve taken music, history and biology classes\u2014classes I never would have thought to take and I don\u2019t think many of my other friends would have taken.\u201d It made her successful in social situations like the industry event. \u201cDifferent conversations come up and I feel comfortable giving my input.\u201d &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deloitte recruiters took note. They invited Kreutzjans to dinner, offered her a summer internship and, ultimately, a full-time job in their Cincinnati office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Transy made us really well rounded.
