Back when Madeline Aulisio ’10 was an undergrad at Transylvania, she took a Health Psychology class with professor Mike Nichols ’68. Now she and Nichols are team-teaching the same class, which inspired her career path.
One of the main objectives for the class was to introduce students to the interdisciplinary nature of nanoscience and its omnipresence.
Students in Transylvania’s Health Studies Seminar are learning about various aspects of the health care field from professionals, many of them alumni, with a variety of jobs.
While COVID-19 has scuttled this year’s travel plans, returning students at least can imagine where they might be off to next year — Transylvania’s Office of Global and Intercultural Engagement recently announced its May term travel courses for 2021.
