Transylvania junior Savannah Lambert’s experiences in Germany have made her want to share her passion for international education.
On Thursday, Sept. 19, Transylvania University students will get a taste of all the opportunities they have to see the world as they study, research and work abroad to expand their horizons and gain valuable experience as global citizens.
Junior Caroline Hawk recently discovered how Transylvania has not only prepared her to make contributions in the since lab, but also how her liberal arts background made her comfortable communicating with people of all levels and interests.
The first weekend at Transylvania was full of traditions for the Class of 2023 — moving in, greeting classmates, attending Transylvania’s Induction Ceremony. That culminated in yet one more tradition — a class photo on the steps of Old Morrison. The class is comprised of students from across Kentucky, 16 other states, and eight countries. They continue their First Engagements orientation classes throughout the week. Returning students arrive on campus on Aug. 30 and Sep. 1, and fall classes begin Sept. 3.
