When Corinne O’Bryan first started college, she didn’t attend any orientation events. So she felt alone for a bit. Transylvania’s assistant director of student success, O’Bryan is now making sure the 300 or so members of the Class of 2026 feel like they have a new home.
Our Healthy at Transy plan for 2022‑23 will inform the campus of changes in the community COVID level on a regular basis and, if necessary, will determine any additional mitigation measures.
Thomas Stuckey, a longtime educator with experience in financial oversight and university management, has been named as interim vice president for finance and administration at Transylvania University.
Transylvania students will soon start taking advantage of the school’s partnership with Appalachian Regional Healthcare, which will provide them with scholarships, experiential learning and future employment.
