Although Ysa Leon ’24 always put academics first, it is lacrosse and the support of team members that provide her with extra motivation.
Every kid who has played sports imagines growing up and playing for their favorite team. As a young baseball fanatic raised in Cincinnati, Katie Hulsman’s team was her hometown Reds. And while the Transylvania graduate may not come to work with her name on the back of a uniform, she’s very much a part of the club.
The Transylvania men’s lacrosse team recently packaged and delivered hundreds of cookies to Lexington firefighters in a show of appreciation for helping keep this town safe.
