Katy Groves-Mussat’s liberal arts background from Transylvania helped give her the confidence and flexibility to launch Farmer and Frenchman Winery five years ago in the rolling countryside outside Henderson, Kentucky.
Working to improve primary education in sub-Saharan Africa, Transylvania alumna Julianne Norman ’11 produces peer-reviewed research and manages a team of 132 in Liberia. Every dimension of her work for RTI International, a science-based, research-driven, nonprofit organization, relates back to her double major in French and religion at Transylvania University.
