Transylvania Aja Price ’11 founded a company to help young girls succeed in business.
By studying biology and art history at Transylvania, Erin Marek ’16 could easily pivot from gathering soil samples on a Swedish mountain for research to being part of the League of Legends team as development manager at Riot Games.
Sophie Schwab ’11 likes to tell her students that biology is her first love. Convincing them of its relevance in every facet of their lives is, perhaps, her second. Within the first several years of teaching, she has received two student-nominated awards, one from Barnes & Noble, the other from Fayette County Schools.
Betsy May was willing to be adaptable in her job search after graduating from Transylvania in 2008; she sought roles that she could grow into and learn from — her current one is with Keeneland Race Course.
