As Transylvania’s new school year gets underway today, the university welcomes five new faculty members to campus. These educators from a variety of fields — from religion to theater — bring a wealth of scholarship and experience to Transylvania.
In a special collaborative exhibition, Transylvania University’s Morlan Gallery and J. Douglas Gay Jr./Frances Carrick Thomas Library present “The Art of Kentucky Literature: 45 Years of Larkspur Press,” a celebration of Larkspur’s 45th anniversary. The show runs Tuesday through Nov. 1.
Transylvania Theater’s 2019-20 season will tackle the topic of resilience — university’s theme for this academic year — with four productions reminding us of our capacity to overcome challenges with both grit and humor.
