Rising high school seniors are encouraged to submit their applications now to join Transylvania University’s Class of 2030.
Starting today, students can apply using the Transy application or Common App. Along with the completed application, submit a current high school transcript. ACT or SAT scores aren’t required — but attach a self-written essay with your other materials if you opt not to include them. Letters of recommendation are also optional but can strengthen an application.
“As we launch the fall 2026 academic year application today, Transylvania reaffirms its enduring legacy of excellence — a history that has consistently cultivated leaders and innovators prepared for the real world,” said Erin Craig, senior vice president for enrollment management.
In our complex global landscape, “the need for critical thinkers — minds capable of dissecting multifaceted challenges and forging collaborative solutions — has never been more urgent,” Craig added.
She also emphasized the value of a Transylvania degree beyond providing a path to a successful career: “Investing in Transy isn’t merely an investment in education; it’s an investment in the future, empowering the next generation to uphold our tradition of impact and shape the world to come.”
The application process is free, and applying automatically qualifies students for academic, merit-based scholarships. Apply by Dec. 1 to be eligible for Premier Scholarships — ranging from $35,000 per year to full tuition, fees, on-campus housing and meals.
