Transylvania University on Oct. 22 will participate in a nationwide day of readings from recipients of the longest running poetry award in the country — Yale Series of Younger Poets.
The last weekend in October will be a busy one on campus at Lexington’s Transylvania University as the school hosts Family Weekend, the Alumni Fall Festival and kicks off PumpkinMania.

The Legacy Scholarship will award $8,000 over four years to eligible students whose parents, stepparents, grandparents or siblings have attended Transylvania or are currently enrolled.
