Transylvania offers study abroad opportunities in a variety of affiliated programs that combine the excitement of travel to countries throughout the world with a hands-on academic focus.

Students may study abroad for an academic year, a semester, a summer term, or during May Term. Scholarships are available for summer study abroad and a select number of students may be approved to use up to $4,000 of their Transylvania award money for a semester of study abroad. In addition, federal and state aid may be used for study abroad.

Advising and the application process for study abroad are administered by the Office of Study Abroad and Special Programs.

Credit
Academic credit may be earned and transferred for successful completion of courses taken in programs approved by Transylvania’s faculty.
