With prior approval from faculty members, students may earn academic credit for participating in unpaid internships abroad, sponsored by the following programs:
Arcadia University’s Center for Education Abroad – offers internships in government, public service, business, the arts, and communications in Australia, England, Ireland, Scotland and Spain.
Butler University’s Institute for Study Abroad – offers internships in many fields, including the arts, business, drama, education, finance, health, hospitality, marketing, political science, psychology, social work, writing and publishing in Australia, England, Ireland, and Scotland.
GlobaLinks – offers the Professional Development for Academic Credit (PDAC) internship as well as customized internships in Australia and New Zealand.
Hansard Society for the Study of Parliamentary Government – offers internships with the British Parliament and other government agencies, the media, and public policy organizations.
IES - Institute for International Education of Students offers internships in Art/Theatre, Business, Education, Government/Politics, Law, Social Organization, and Science in many countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Chile, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan and Spain.
International Partnership for Service Learning - programs integrate academic studies with volunteer service and full cultural immersion to give students a deeper, more meaningful study abroad experience in Czech Republic, Ecuador, England, France, India, Israel, Italy Jamaica, Lakota Nation (USA), Mexico, Philippines, Russia, Scotland and Thailand.
