Course Requirements

General medical school course requirements include:

Two semesters of general biology with laboratories
Two semesters of general chemistry with laboratories
Two semesters of organic chemistry with laboratories
Two semesters of physics with laboratories
Two semesters of English
One year of college level mathematics or one semester of calculus
Suggested coursework in the humanities and psychology

MCAT

The MCAT is generally taken in the summer after third year in order to matriculate in the fall following graduation. For this reason, it is suggested that all required coursework be completed by the end of third year.
